CROSS FUNCTIONAL CLIENT FOCUS

An organisational change project across all functions in a professional firm that took client focus to the next level. ROLE I participate especially in the project management, the program development, and the training and coaching of more than 500 partners, directors and senior managers. RESULTS After two years; increased number of cross functional clients, topline growth in most of the functions, increased client satisfaction, a more professional driven and proactive go-to-market organisation, common practice development language across functions, and a higher leverage on practice development. I have worked for this client for more than 10 years now.

BUSINESS ADVISOR PROGRAM (TALENT PROGRAM)

This Business Advisor Program was one of the most ambitious program for managers in the industry at the time. It directly supported the firm's strategy. Talented managers across all the firm's functions were selected for the program every year. Together they passed through an individuel assessment, several training and coaching sessions, and mandatory on-the-job-training before they attended a two-day examination session with a practical case where partners provided feedback. ROLE I took part in design and facilitation of the training. RESULTS More than 250 participants have evaluated the program, average is way above 5 on a 6 scale.

BASIC SALES AND CONSULTING SKILLS - EFFECTIVE ON-BOARDING

This firm has a long tradition of creating a common language on sales and consulting skills for their consultant from day one. Mandatory for all new employees. ROLE Training, design, and facilitation. Senior partners take part of the program every time. RESULT The firm has run this program ones or twice every year in more than 15 years. Simple and good!

TRUST BASED RELATIONS AND MARKET DRIVEN COMPETENCES

The execution of an engineering firm's global strategy had an explicit focus on Trust Based Relations with the firm's strategic accounts. ROLE I took part in the project team and together we 1) designed the role and responsibilities amongst the players in the go-to-market organisation and 2) defined the required competences. RESULT: Decision proposal ready to the management team. Stakeholders managed.

PARTNER PERFORMANCE EVALUATION  

Development of a new model Performance Management Modul for Equity Partners. ROLE Working closely with the Management team to 1) decide on design criteria, definitions, value drivers, KPI´s, and performance management process and tools and 2) ensure strategic alignment as well as practical alignment with management reporting and bonus models, and finally to 3) design the implementation plan. RESULT: Decision proposal with a complete model ready to the Board of Director within in 3 weeks.

PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY FOR LAWYERS

Advisory for a number of legal practice areas including Corporate law, M&A, Commercial Real Estate, IT & Telecommunications, Energy & Infrastructure, IP law, Marketing & Consumer law, and Dispute Resolution. ROLE Through analysis and facilitation of workshops, I assisted the leading partners with e.g. Client Platform Assessments, Client and Service Segmentation, Skills Assessment, Business Plan Development and Execution Support. RESULTS Growing market results, go-to-market aligning amongst partners and senior professionals, and an increased set of practice development tools and competences to use year after year going forward.

In seven different countries all over the world, I have conducted training in "Consultative Engineering" for pharma engineers, architects and project managers. 2+ 3 days highly interactive training sessions. ROLE Training design and facilitation. RESULT The firm has run this program for 5 years now. Rated way above 4,5 on a scale from 1- 5.

ROLE Working closely with the management team to 1) decide on ambitions and design criteria, 2) develop and describe career paths and new ways of working, calculate the business case, and assess the risks, and 3) get a hold of the practical consequences and the stepwise implementation of all the elements over the coming years. RESULT Development of a complete Career Model within 3 months. Ready to implement. Stakeholders aligned.

An economics firm wanted to take their nordic success to the rest of Europe. As a part of their journey, they wanted to enhance the organisation's practice development skills. ROLE I toke part in various assignments - advisory, workshop facilitating, training, and individual coaching on all levels of the organisation.
